Chicago’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

Fireworks launched from bridges along the Chicago River at Midnight

Mayor Brandon Johnson, DCASE, Choose Chicago, ABC7 Chicago and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), announced that “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” America’s most-watched New Year’s celebration, will broadcast live from Chicago with the first Central Time zone midnight countdown live broadcast in its more than 50-year history.

The festivities will be led by a new host, feature live performances, and on-the-ground updates and reporting throughout the evening.

Millennium Park Sing-Alongs at Cloud Gate

Bundle up and belt out songs in celebration of Chicago’s diverse holiday traditions at Cloud Gate on Fridays, December 5, 12, and 19 from 6pm-7pm. Each week features a local Chicago choral group leading guests and families in song.
